I think a strategic collapse might be a way to bring the issue to a head before we get cooked like the proverbial frog in the pot of water. There are two possibilities. One is for a city, province or less likely a small country, to declare that it is designating itself as a Sharia-compliant state for a limited period, say a month. Every woman would have to wear a veil and other Islamic dress, mullahs would be brought in to run the city, province or federal administration and the Call to Prayer would be heard from every tower and church steeple.
